The process
Free consultation
We discuss your goals, lifestyle, hair type, and budget. I’ll recommend the method (beaded row, tape-in, or hand-tied) that fits.
Color match & order
I color-match your hair to a Bellami swatch and order the right shade and length. Lead time is typically 1–2 weeks.
Install
Installation takes 2–4 hours depending on method and amount. I’ll cut and blend the extensions to match your natural hair.
Maintenance
Every 6–10 weeks I reposition the extensions as your natural hair grows. Maintenance is billed separately from install.
Caring for extensions
- Sleep with hair tied up. Loose braid or low ponytail. Prevents tangling and stress on extensions.
- Wash 1–2 times per week max. Sulfate-free shampoo, gentle technique. Don’t scrub at the roots where extensions are attached.
- Brush gently, multiple times daily. Use an extension-friendly brush (loop brush or wet brush). Start from ends, work up.
- Heat protectant always. Extensions are real hair but can’t be replaced like your natural hair grows back.
- Avoid heavy oils at the root. Conditioning treatments are fine on the lengths but not at the attachment points.
- Schedule maintenance on time. Going past 10 weeks risks matting and damage to your natural hair.

Why is the price quoted at consultation?
The cost depends on how many wefts you need, the length and density you want, and the method we choose. Without seeing your hair in person, any price quote would be a guess. The consultation is free and gives you a real number.
How much do extensions typically cost in total?
Bellami extensions plus install typically runs $800–$2,500+ depending on length, density, and method. Maintenance every 6–10 weeks is billed separately. I’ll give you full numbers at consultation so there are no surprises.
Will extensions damage my real hair?
Not when installed and maintained correctly. The risks come from extensions left in too long, improper installation, or skipped maintenance. I follow Bellami’s certification standards and will only do what’s safe for your hair.
Can I swim or work out with extensions?
Yes, but with care. Tie hair up during workouts. Rinse with fresh water after swimming. Use leave-in conditioner before pool/ocean. Chlorine and salt water are extensions’ worst enemies.
How long do extensions last before replacement?
Bellami extensions typically last 6–12 months with proper care. After that, the hair quality declines and the extensions need to be replaced. The metal beads or tape can be reused longer.
